Cardinal Mooney and Ursuline High School State Football Championship Celebration
YOUNGSTOWN- tomorrow at 10am the City of Youngstown will be celebrating the victory of both Cardinal Mooney and Ursuline High Schools Football programs for both winning State Championships this season. The City of Youngstown would like to invite the community to share in a victory celebration at 10 am at the Covelli Centre.
State Champions, Ursuline High School and Cardinal Mooney, will come together to celebrate their victorious wins with the residents of the City of Youngstown and surrounding areas. Both Ursuline and Mooney football teams, coaching staffs and cheerleaders will be present and will be receiving commendations, resolutions and proclamations from Mayor Jay Williams, Youngstown City Council and others.
Joe McCormick with the Austintown Memorial Post 301 will present the colors and Mrs. Leslie Kitchen will lead the presentation of the colors while singing “God Bless America”.
The City of Youngstown and the entire Mahoning Valley are very proud of both schools achievements. By capturing two state championships both schools have brought honor and recognition to our valley.
